                        Photo ContestPhoto Contest “Treasures of Barcelos” The photo contest "Treasures of Barcelos” is a joint initiative of Art & TUR - International Tourism Film Festival and the Municipality of Barcelos (this contest is exclusively for students in the parishes of Barcelos). The purpose of this contest is rewarding the authors of photos that, by quality and visual content, by showing the richness scenic, landscape and heritage of Barcelos in its various aspects (History, Culture, Heritage, Nature, Sports, Social Life, among others). The “Treasures of Barcelos” is therefore to promote the municipalities of Barcelos in its potential, socio-cultural, artistic, economic and tourism. Selection Each school in the municipality of Barcelos will choose the best pictures, through a selection committee of the responsibility of each school. At 23rd September the jury of the festival will evaluate each photo, based on three criteria: • Visual quality; • Concept; • Creativity. Awards Will be awarded the following prizes: 1st Prize - player / DVD recorder; 2nd Prize - Digital camera; 3rd Prize - One "A vida é Bela" experience. The three winners will also be invited to present their work on a photo exhibition organized during the ART & TUR 2011 Festival to be held in September 2011.
